A study of my own home electrification retrofit, showing what’s possible and what it cost.

In 2023 Sarah’s home was awarded a Commendation for Sustainability in the Inner West Council, Built Environment Awards.

Taking her house from 2.9 stars to 10 stars, she went all electric and got off gas in just two months. Below is a graph of her energy consumption over 2022 and 2023. Electricity consumption dropped from 42kWh a day in June 2022 to just 12kWh a day in June 2023. Plus, no more gas bills!
